My cousin asked me about this look recently so I decided to share… it was inspired by International MUA Danessa Myricks you can see more or her work on imakeyoubeautiful.com…
Here is my version… You will need: Your artistic skills (smile) Metallic Eye Shadows in Gold, Bronze, Rust or an Orangie Red Pigment (loose powder), Matte Black, Black Liquid Eyeliner with pen tip, Q-Tip, Pointed edge eye shadow applicator, False Strip Lashes (Optional)
1. Start by applying gold eye shadow from lash line to brow bone ( if your skin tone is dark opt for a gold that has pink or reddish undertone);
2. Use liquid liner to draw the circles whatever size and shapes you choose;
3. Use a Q-Tip or the pointed edge of the applicator apply the Rust/Orangie Red Pigments to the center of the circle taking great care that it does not get on the black;
4. Line eyes close to the lash line on top extending the width of the line to the outer corner… do the same underneath, begin from the inner corner and extend all the way out, go as wide and you choose, the wider the line the more dramatic the effect, use a regular black waterproof eyeliner to cover the water line for depth.
5. Apply water proof blackest black mascara to lashes top and bottom, allow to dry apply false strip lashes if you choose.
