Understanding The Art Of Makeup ~ Facts To Note.

Some days are made of sugar and spice and all that’s nice…

Here are some fun facts that are meant to give you insight into Understanding The Art Of Makeup.

FACTS TO NOTE ~ Fact 1: A woman does not need a lot of makeup to enhance her beauty.

Fact 2: Makeup does not have to be jumping off your skin to be effective.

Fact 3: Bright colorful eyeshadows, makes your eyes look droopy, which ages you.

Fact 4: Heavy overly dramatic lashes belong on a drag queen or stage character. On a regular woman walking the streets it’s super distracting and also makes you look sleepy.

Less is more. The least you wear the more beautiful and elegant you look.

I enhanced my skin with CC Cream, concealer in the area I need it the most (inner under eye)

Eyebrows defined, skin tone shadow, color liner in my lash line, mascara and lashes to enhance my eyes,

Bronzer for definition, highlights for contrast, nude lips…..

FYI the least amount of color and product you rock, the more modern and youthful would be your appearance. Don’t take my word, simply try it…

I wear makeup and do makeup with purpose and that is to enhance your best features.

Point to note for an overall attractive complexion: Foundation/Concealer/Powder/Highlighters – Create the illusion of flawless, radiant skin if combined well.

Powder – takes away shine and set the foundation (it’s important to understand there are different types of powders)

Brow products – enhance definition and or create the illusion of full brows (the purpose was never to make your brows darker/black. It’s distracting and makes you look older. Over-defined, overdrawn, black brows are suitable for stage or character makeup. Soften up your brows and observe how amazingly youthful you would look.

Highlighters – Create radiant skin or draw light to the high points of the face

Bronzers – Add definition and warmth to the skin

Blush – Add definition, warmth, or mimic that natural flush of color that is there (placement is super important, you can look drab/older if it’s placed too low)
